When the Supreme Court returns from their summer break one of their tasks will be to determine whether to hear the case Domino’s Pizza v. Guillermo Robles.
Robles, who is blind, has filed suit against the pizza chain after attempting to order online multiple times over the span of a couple of years and being unable to do so using his screen reader. This suit is one of just many that has been levied against businesses in recent years for violating the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), despite a lack of formalized regulations from the Department of Justice.
